The tour will start from the famous monument to Peter the Great - the Bronze Horseman
The motor ship will pass along the Bolshaya Neva River along the main headquarters of the Russian Navy - the Admiralty, and then under the arches of the most famous drawbridge - the Palace Bridge - the symbol of Saint Petersburg.
You will see from the water the main ensemble of Saint Petersburg: the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island with the Rostral Columns, the Exchange, the Winter Palace, as well as the birthplace of Saint Petersburg - the Peter and Paul Fortress on Hare Island.
Further on we will see the famous Summer Garden, “ where the best fence in the world stands ” (Anna Akhmatova). Under the low arches of the Prachechny Bridge our ship will enter the Fontanka River. Fontanka is the border of Saint Petersburg in the 18th century, where the mansions of the most noble people of the Russian Empire from the Sheremetyev, Shuvalov, Tolstoy, Yusupov families are located... You will also see the magnificent estate of Gavriil Romanovich Derzhavin.
From Fontanka we will turn into the Kryukov Canal, and you will find yourself in a magical place - Semimostye (Seven Bridges), where Saint Petersburg residents make their deepest wishes! The architectural dominant of this territory is the elegant, airy Naval cathedral of Saint Nicholas, where the victories of the Russian fleet have been celebrated since the time of Catherine the Great.
Next, our ship will pass between the past and the future - on one side you will see the historic building of the Imperial Mariinsky Theater, and on the other one its new high-tech stage.
Turning at the New Holland arch into the Moyka River, you will plunge into the true atmosphere of Venice of the North, with elegant romantic bridges such as Potseluev, Pochtamtsky, Fonarny bridges. You will see the Yusupov Palace, the majestic Saint Isaac's Cathedral, then you will hold your breath in the twilight under the arches of the widest bridge in Europe!
From the Moyka River, we will return to the Neva, passing through the shortest canal of the Northern capital - the Winter Canal, at the exit of which an impressive panorama of the waters of the Big Neva opens up.
On the way back you will find a reserve of Peter the Great's Baroque architecture: Kunstkamera - the first museum of Russia, the building of the Twelve Colleges, the Menshikov Palace, the Mikhail Lomonosov Academy of Sciences and Ilya Repin Academy of Arts, Peter II's Palace - all the buildings of the University Embankment have been preserved since the 18th century.
